Al Mohrmann was last seen at New Jersey Repertory Company in 2006, when he played the part of Bill Livingston in The Women of Lockerbie. He appeared as Filippo in the U.S. premiere of Old Clown Wanted, Victor Burlington in Big Boys (a co-production of NJ Rep. and Playwright’s Theatre of New Jersey); Jerry in the East Coast premiere of Maggie Rose; and Fred in the world premiere of Till Morning Comes. In the fall of 2005, Al appeared as H.C. Curry in The Rainmaker at 12 Miles West. Al also played Lyman Felt in The Ride Down Mt. Morgan and Andre Borchevsky in Red Herring at 12MW.
Al has appeared at the Centenary Stage Company as Sir Anthony Absolute in The Rivals, Professor Henry Harper in Another Antigone, Major McGillicuddy in Engaged, and a variety of roles in Alice in Ireland and The Tillie Project. Favorite acting roles include Johnny in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune at the Gallery Players; Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet at the Ozark Actor’s Theatre; Artie in House of Blue Leaves at The Height’s Players; Morrell in Candida at The Seventh Sign Theatre Company; Eddie in A View from the Bridge at The Gloucester Stage Company; and James in A Circle on the Cross at The Open Eye Theatre.
